Guarantees have been given that tho lives and properly of foreigners will bo safeguarded. The Federal Iroops nro advancing on Juarez, and an insurgent forco has been dispatched to form an ambush. An unconfirmed report states that tho Federals apd Revolutionists aro fighting south of Juarez. (Rec. February G, 9.15 p.m.) Mexico City, February G. Tho insurrectionists, by digging ft . ditch across tho line, wrecked a train containing Federal troops ten miles south of Juarez. Many soldiers were killed or wounded. Stiff fighting followed, but tho Federalists succeeded in escaping from the trap though they were fired on as they withdrew. Tho biggest battle since the revolution started is imminent.
