In" connection with tho investigation arising out of the reported phenomenally rich 010 at the Chaffinch mine, and tho subsequent heavy slump in shares, warrants havo been issued for tho arrest of Bonwick, a mining- agent, and Dyason, a mining investor, on a charge of conspiracy to defraud tho public. Dyason was arrested in Melbourne. (Rcc. February G, 9.i5 p.m.) Melbourne, February G. Bonwick has been arrested at Sydney and Grconway at Yass. They havo been remanded. Greenwny acted as manager of tho Chaffinch mino up to Christmas, and resigned after presenting a somewhat favourable report.
