CENTRAL MISSION.
$ Last evening at (lie service hold under the auspices of the Central Mission, in tho King's Theatre, about 100 Recliabit.es attended, including members of tho different lodges in tho city: us well as -10 delegates from southern lodges who are on their wn.v to the New Zealand Conference of Hcchabiles,' which is tp bo held nt Napier, this week. Prior to the service a procession, headed by the Central Mission Itand. marched from the It.echabite Hall, in Manners Street, through Gliuzlies Street and Cuba Street, to the King's Theatre.. The l?cv. K. 0. Bluniires preached from Ephesians v., xviii., and Chief Ruler Wesney. of Invereargill, lead the lessons. The soloist was Mr. T. C. Now trill, who sang "Life's Time is Work Time." Tile band played a tvelec--1 ion entitled "Lord. Thou' hast been My ihvelliiig Plac- 1 ." At'lhn conclusion of the service, Mr. -Kershaw, Neiv Zealand secretary of Oddfellows, gave the visiting delegates a hearty welcome to Wellington on behalf of brother orders iu tha' city, and this was briefly responded, to by Mr. Wesney.
