CONCLUSION OF SUMMER MEETING.. (By Telegraph—Press Association.) Auckland,.February 4. The Takapuna Jockey Club's summer meeting was brought to a closo to-day. There was a very good attendance, tho weather being fine. 'L'ho proceedings were somewhat quieter than usual, owing to tho absence of "tho roar of tho ring.' Speculation on the totalisator naturally was heavier than of late, tho sum of .£17,011 going through.
