Fifteen signalmen at Goole refused to work as railwayiueu. Tho men discovered that they were mistaken concerning the North-Eastem Company's treatment of t.ho grievances of tho discharged fish porters. Tho general manager's announcement that unless strikers .returned to work on Monday their places would be filled, accelerated the decision. Many strango scenes occurred during tho strike. Tho public travelled without tickets, including crowds attending tho football matches. Tho quays at Hull aro heaped with fish .which it has been impossible to distribute. PRINTERS' DISPUTE.
