COACH CAPSIZED.
TWO PASSENGERS IN HOSPITAL. (liy Tclceraph—l'rcss Association.! Wcstport, February 3. The horses in Newman's coach when starting .for Jleefton this morning vcro frightened' by a steamStrake'r wagon. Tiiey bolted and capsized, tho coach, carrying aivay the fore-carriage, which collided' with and. broke a .verandah post lower down, the town. There woro twelve passengers aboard tho coach. All were shaken, and only four proceeded on the journey. Mrs. Morelf, an old lady of Murchison, had an arm broken. Amongst the passengers were: Mr. and "Mrs. flowarth, of Christchurch; Hiss Ward, of Tiranru; Hiss Havelock, of j Foxton; and Mrs. Hudson, of Murchison. ' Mrs. ■ Morel! and Mrs. Howarth liavo had to bo removed to tho Hospital.
