Bris'coe and Co. were grante'd permission to removo a building on Sections 100 and 101, Wadestown district, without charge. It was resolved to open Crown 'ands near Kakahi for selection, from year to year, at an annual rental of ss. por acre- to call for tenders for Crown lands near I'iriaki, to bo offered for lease from vear to year at an annual rental o£ 5«.' per acre. -■ the Hawtrey Settlement being reoffered on renewable lease. The Wairarapa. South County Council submitted proposals for the expenditure of thirds accrued to Octobe.r 31. 1910. Tho board approved tho proposals. The amount approved was £49 7s. 6d. The Waimnrino County Council similarly submitted proposals- for the expenditure of thirds accrued on a Inrge number of sections to the amount, of £328 17s. 10d. Tho board approved of the proposals subject to the usual investigation by tho ranger. The council also applied for a certificate of hypothecation over Thirds accrued on Sections 1 and 2, Block XIV, Mamranui 5.1)., 10 and 11, Block 1.1. and 5, 6 and 8, Block 111, Makohlku S.D.. to pay interest on tho 3f.idd.lo Eoad Metalling Loan of £600, the amount of thirds now in hand being .£l4l 10s. Subject to a report by the ranger tho board approved tho application, and directed tho chairman to issue the necessary certificate. Tho Maneaweka Town Board applied for the.expenditure of thirds. The board approved to tho extent of £42 Os. 9d. Tho N.B. Powell Wood Process Co., Ltd renewed its application for tho right to mill timber on 1000 acres in Block II Karioi. It was resolved Iβ hold over tho mutter for further consideration. Mr. Walker's application for 11 acres between Section 61. Block VIII, Packaiarilii was held over. SECTIONS OFFEKED. It was resolved to offer for cash at auction tho Mawaihakoiia Township; alw to approve of 24 lots iu tho township of Manunui (about 4 mik's from Taumarunui) being offered for sale for cash at public auction, at upset prices ranging from £15 to £00 per lot. Also of 36 lots in the Manunui Village Settlement, comprising 316 acres, being offered as village homeThc board adjourned uutil this mornlnr.
