FEILDING NOTES.
Mr. E. Goodbehere (Mayor) left fo* Wellington'yesterday. He will retutrn on Saturday. ] Mr. D. H. Guthrie, M.P., returned from Wellington yesterday, where ho had been interviewing Ministers in regard to a number of local matters, especially in regard to education. His Lordship Dr. Wallis, Bishop of Wellington, and Mrs. Wallis, who wero on their way to Wanganui, remained at Feilding yesterday afternoon with the intention of , going ont to Mr. Wheeler's residence. They will then proceed by motor to Wniignmri. The new incumbent at Palmerston North is the Rev. R. G. Kosher, vicar of one of (he livings in the gift of the Duke of Sutherland, in the "Potteries" district.
