'From Our Special Corrcsiiondent.l Palmerston; February 1. Tha fortnightly meeting of the Oroua (Palraerston) Lodge of Druids was held last night, , when there was a large attendance, Bro. W. F. Cutler,-A.D.,, presiding. In reference to an appeal from the Auckland district, a donation ■of .£1 Is. was voted to a fund in aid cf a brother .and a similar sum was passed to the Zeehan Lodge, in Tasmania, which has lost its bandroom and instruments in a lire. Three new members were initiated, and three others proposed. The amendment of the rules, as adopted at a special meeting, were confirmed. During the' month of January there were 47 births, 13 marriages, and 13 deaths in Palmerston.
