Herbert Samuel, Post-master-General, speaking at the dinner of the British International Association of Journalist!;,, urged them to seize every opportunity to emphasise -the signs of goodwill happily growing between Britain and Germany. F<!w objects, said the speaker, were dearer to the heart of tho Government than a permanent marked improvement in the relations between the two countries. Mr. Hamuol hoped during his term of office io secure a considerable reduction in press cable rates.
