Tho Australasian Association for the Advancement of Science is organising an expedition to the Island of Vavau ■ to observe the eclipse of the sun, •under the leadership of- Professor Baracchi, Victorian Government Astronomer. The expedition, which will bo composed of scientific and unofficial members, will leave Sydney on March 28, arriving at Vavau on April 13.
