CHARGE OF BURGLARY.

A young man named Stanley Walters arrested yesterday afternoon by detective Qinrke and Sweeney,. was charged at the Police Court to-day with committing theburglary, at the Manawatu Club n few days ago when two cash boxes, containing between £X> ■ and £M vera stolen. Accused was remanded till Saturday It appears that Walters, who had been known under , the names of Waters and Erl Mayne, had been employed at the dub for a fow dnys, but was discharged becnuss ho did not come back to his work promptly after attending tho foxten races.
