Qnnter will undertake tho duties of conductor, as Mr. F. W. A. Mason, who has acted in. that capacity since tlw inception of the. Liedertalel, some i'oiri years ago, has removed some miles out ot town', nnd it would bo inconvenient for him to regularly attend the practices. Mr. Gunter is a musician of high attainments, atd under his baton the Liedertai'el will doubtless continue its successful career. Tho Palmerstori Court of Foresters held its usual meeting last evening, Bro. M. Iteaiiowski, C.8..', being in the chair. The woodwards. reported that there was only one member , on tho sick fund. A committee of past Olivers was appointed 'to arrange a court of instruction at an early date. It was decided to pay a fraternal visit to the cohrt at Feilding at the end 'of'Tebunary.
