■■ ♦— — PUNISHMENT OF RAILWAY MEN. * ■ By Telegraph—Press Association—Copyright. Melbourne, January 26. The inquiry into the Richmond disaster has concluded. Allan, driver of tho Brighton train, was fined J!3O for not sending his fireman to a signal-box when detained by the advanced starting-signal. The fiveman was fined £5, and the guard of tho first train was cautioned for not having the tail-lights burning. Signalman M r Donald, of South Yarra, was dismissed the service, but was recommended for n less responsible position. Driver Melville, of the second train, was dismissed tho service for not obeying signals. His fireman was found not guilty on a similar charge.
