CRICKETERS , AND OTHERS. • Deputations, from the. Cricket Asso-ciation,-and from tho Wellington Ceiitro of the Now Zealand .Amateur Athletic Association,.waited upon tho lieservos Committee of the' >Cit.y Council .yesterday in reference to tho uso of the Jiasin Reserve. 31r. M. liiickie, on behalf of the .Cricket Association, opposed tho granting of the reserve for a sports meeting on February 25, pointing out that cricketers - had already . suffered from the less of playing Saturdays. Speaking for the Athletic Centre, Mr. M'Villy asked for_thc use of tho reserve on February 25 and oil March 1!. ■ The Reserves Committee decided to grant., the / Athletic Association tlie ground on February 20, hut on no other dates .in the meantime.
