She has signalled that she has tho crew of the overdue Parisiana on board. The Parisiana was abandoned on firo at sea. " There are no details. \ ■ Tho steamer Parisiana left New York o;i October 29 for Australian and New Zealand ports. She was.a new vessel, and had on .board over 10,000 tons of general cargo for Australian and New Zealand ports, which was consigned' as follows For Melbourne, 2957 tons; Sydney, 3250 tons; Williamstown, 700 tons; Auckland, 1100 tons; Wellington, 109G tons; Lyfctclton, 529 tons; Dunedin, 628-tons. EVERTON GRANGE INQUIRY. ' Adelaide, January 20. Tho Marino Board .found that the stranding of tho steamer Evcrton Grange at Kangaroo Island was primarily caused by an error in tho compass, but that the master and the second and third officers had been guilty of careless navigation by neglecting tho ordinary precautions.
