DR. MAWSON'S • PLANS. By Telegraph-Press Association-Copyrigllt, Melbourne, January 20. Dr. Mawson will leavo shortly for London to arrange for the purchaso of a ship for his Antarctic expedition. Tho vessel will be fitted with'wireless telegraphic apparatus, and Dr. Mawson hopes to bo able to send daily reports to tho Australian newspapers. If shortly after liis arrival ill London tho money required for tho expedition has not been guaranteed in Australia, he will abandon the proposed expedition, and take, charge of a British expedition.
