ANNIVERSARY REGATTA.

The Port Nicholson Yacht Club will hold its annual regatta on Monday next, Anniversary-Day. The races will start from the Clyde Quay. Wharf, the first at/ 10 o'clock. The first event in the afternoon will commenco at 2.30. Letter N, of tho Commercial Code, hoisted on tho Te Aro baths, will (if necessary) bo tho signal that all races have been postponed. If a southerly wind prevails, Jerningham .'and Halsivell buoys arc to bo left oil tho port hand tho first "time round, and, "on the return, are to bo'left on the starboard band. Kaiwarra and Koro Koro buoys are to bo left on tho starboard .hand. Competitors aro. reminded that the .maximum crew for each class is as follow: —First-class, 7; second-class, 6;. third-class, 5. In -tho event of a shift in tho wind, boats will keep the course on which they start.
