:At the time of closing on Wednesday night tho following entries had been received for the first slioiv of the Central A. and I'.: Association, Waipukurau Horses and competitions, 271; sheep, 67; cattle, 17; dogs, 9; home industries, SO; total; 444.' The erttries.jn the'fat. sheep and lamb class were not up to expectations. This is on account of tho dry season experienced in the district. The show will-be held on February 1.
