The local office of tho Cnion Company advise that excursion tickets for l'icton on Monday next can be obtained at the offico 10-dav and to-morrow. On Manday they will bo 011 issue alongside the steamer prior to her sailing time. The ferry steamers will run special excursions to Day's Hay on Anniversary Day, Monday next, commencing at 9 a.ni. Tho water chute and all the numerous side shows will bo in full swing, and hot water will Ik supplied free. The return fare is Is., children half-pric-S. The first term for the Wellington College for 1911 will begin on Monday, January 30, at 9 a.m. A'notice to intending pupils appears in this issue. The Lower Hutt Borough Council insert an advertisement in this issue referring to the district electors' list, which is now being prepared.
