THE TANTANOOLA CASE. By Telegraph—Press Association—Copyright Adelaide, January 19. The trial of Edmondson in connection with tho Tantanoola sheep-stealing case is proceeding. A witness deposed that, he was induced to join the accused by a. statement that he could make four or five pounds daily. Under tho pretext of trapping rabbits, witness said Edmondson shot sheep belonging to flocks in tho vicinity. Witness skinned them, and tho skins were consigned to Adelaide. At other times they put up temporary yards and ran in and killed batches of sheep. The thing had been going on since , August last.
