FEILDING NOTES.
——-cThe Fcilding Joclco.v Club has granted the Horticultural Society the use of the racecourse on February 1 for the purpose of holding a floral fete. In the Magistrate's Court yesterday, be'foro Mr. A. Thomson, S.M., Jlrs. E. J. Murchie petitioned for summary separation from her husband, AV. G. Murchie. Counsel read portion of a letter which defendant had written to his wife in which he stated that he loved another woman, and intended to live with her. He wished to be freed from his wife. There were ten children by the marriage. Tho order was granted, _ and Murchio agreed to pay his wife 255. per week. It is stated that a good deal of poachiiist is going on in the streams in this district. Tho Fcilding Acclimatisation Socirty has appointed a ranger to watch Cor t'lio law-breakers. Tho Bunnythorpe Sports Club made a profit of ,£ls on their meeting last week.
