FEILDING. Ensign. Avenell of the Feilding corps of the Salvation Army is uuder orders to proceed to Musterton next week, and Ensign Jlultquist, of Devonport, Auckland, comes to Feilding.
Some very gcod baskets of fish wore caught in the rivers and streams of this district during the holidays. Gcod work has been done by the Acclimatisation' Society in stocking the rivers, and fishermen nro now reaping the benefit. A local angler caught 201b. of trout in a hole in the Oroua Hirer, near the Aorangi Bridge. Sheep-worrying by stray dogs is again reported. Mr. Cbas. C'arr stales that he has had several sheep, which he had been preparing for tho l'eildiug' show, .worried to death.
