'..At'tho time of* tho fire nt the Kaupokoriui Co-operative Dairy Company's ; factory in it was feared that the Work of' the Cow Testing Association,, which had been formed there, would be seriously interfered with.
However, such is not tho case, and the suppliers who are studying the # results of the' tests 'are "doubtless very "pleased that greater inconvenience was neK caused.
A good deal of the apparatus was destroyed by the - fire, but the Dairy Division of ,tho Department of Agriculture had the equipment replaced. Portion of the scheme is to make a tost at certain periods, and, in consequcnco. of tho jiro, the test was delayed about three days. 'Otherwise tho work-of tho association has gone along smoothly. Since the destruction of the main factory,- the work of the association has been carried, out at the branch • factory at.AVaiokura.
