EIGHT MEN KILLED.
EXPLOSION. ON A U.S. WARSHIP. By Telesraph—Press Association—Copyright (Eec. January 19, 0.15 a.m.) Now York, January 18. Eight men were killed and one injured by an explosion on the United States battleship Delaware. A steam-pipe burst while the vessel was bound to Hampton Roads. A wireless message announced the disaster to the Washington Navy Department. The details are not yet forthcoming.
