A VALUABLE GIFT OF LAND.(By Telegraph—Press Association.* ' Wanganul, January 17.' Mr. David Peat has presented tha Borough Council with 131 acres of land' for the purpose, of a playground for the children of the town.. The land is situated on the borough boundary and constitutes a .magnificent gift, the. value of. which is difficult to estimate.: The.Borough Council to-night decided to call iS the Da-fid Peat Park.
