THIRTY-SEVENTH WEEK. The Hutt breeder, W. Knight, maintains his position in the Papariui egg-laying competition. His pen is seven ahead' ci the second man's (W. O. Sail's), and has .a fair "lead' of the others: Knight 11160 and- Sail 1153. A. Smith , has been < .equalled in the next position by W:Baleh, ,'twho caught up three'points since last iweek. ■ 'Mrs. R. W;/Hawke's'White Legthorns, among the most consistent in the contest, only scored .27 for the week, and as'a consequence.dropped from fourth to sixth-position. G. H. Bradford: moved njj.from: sixth to. fifth. T. Kennedy's Silver Wyandottes, which were'at the •head. of. the list some weeks ago; are now eleventh. A. H.
