Wedding at Christchurch. A pretty wedding took place recently at St. Peter's Presbyterian Church, at Forty Koa'd, Christchurch, when Mr. "Herbert White, eldest Son of Mr. White, of Woolston, and Miss Rose 'Wallace, only daughter of Mr. and Mrs. M. E. Wallace, of Wellington,-were married, the officiat-' iug clergyman being tile Rev. Mr. Mac(lonald. Tho brido who was given away by Mr. Hoddinott, woro a cream dress of French cashmere, trimmed with guipure lace, veil, and orange blossoms; and carried : a shower bouquet'of white roses! She was attended by two bridesmaidsMiss Munro, who wore a dress of mauve cropon, with hat to match, trimmed with pink roses, and a bouquet of sweet peas and rosos, and Miss O'Farrell, of .Wellington, who wore a white embroidered dress with mauve ribbons and white silk hat, and carried a basket of sweet peas. The bridegroom's presents to the bridesmaids Were - a gold pendant and a gold bangle. Mr. Richards was best man. The bride's mother, wore a dress of molecoloured lustrine, with toque to 'match. Among the presents received was a piano from' tho bride's parents. A reception, was subsequently held at the residence of ■Mr, and Mrs. Hoddinott, Casliel Street. Wedding at Johnsonville. At. St. John's , Church, Johnsonville, last Wednesday, Miss Muriel L. M. Moxham, daughter of Mr. John Moxhani, of Johnsonville, was married to Mr.. Stanley Robinson, eldest son of Mr. F. W. Robinson, Manakau. The bride wore a White, muslin, gown,, with veil and orange blossoms, ami was followed by Miss Jenkins and Hiss Pattle, and two small girls, tho 'Misses, Hbwel, as bridesmaids. They wore dresses of pale pink ninon and mob caps, the two cider carried crooks tied with flower's,' and the.two younger bas--kots of flowers. Mr. H. At St. .Mary's Church, Wanganui, last Wednesday, Miss Dorothy Skinner, sec-, ond daughter of Mr. J. Skinner, was married to Mr. Robert' Scott, of . tho Bank of New Zealand, Raetihi. The bride wore white ninon over silk, finished wijth satin, and yoke and sleeves of lace, and a large White hiit trimmed with roses. Miss Gweh Skinner was bridesmaid, and wore white.i muslin, with a picture hat. Mr. Harry Skinner-was best man. Tho reception was- held at' the house' of the bride's uncle, Mr. W. Skinner. Heiv Excellency Lady. Islington, and Miss Stapleton Cotton, leave Featherston 'for Auckland to-day. Mr. Guise, the new ComptrolleFof'the Governor's Household, accompanies, her Excellency. Mrs. R. B. Smith _ and her daughter are! leaving early , this year for a trip to England. Miss Ettie. Wilson and Miss Beswick, of Palmerston North, have been staying with' Archdeacon Harper and Mrs. Harper, at St. Peter's vicarage. ■ Mrs. Russell Grace, and her children, have returned from a visit to Mrs. G.
