LISBON SHOPS REOPEN. By Telegraph-Press Assodntlon-Co'pyrieht . Lisbon, January 12. The shops which wero closed yesterday when all tho city shop hands went on striko have been reopened, and tho postal service, dislocated by the' railway strike, has been restored. - A now decree arranges for a weekly day of rest. A settlement of tho dismite is being negotiated. Trains aro " allowed tS tako provisions to Lisbon. WORKERS REFUSE COMPROMISE. (Rec. January 14, 0.15 a.m.) Lisbon, January 13. Tho railwaymen havo refused tho company's oiler of an increase of their wages by ten per cent, and also tho Government request to allow express trains to proceed.
