Several hours were spent in considering tho merits of the 26 applicants for the hcadmastorship of the Marton District High School, and it was finally decided to recommend tho appointment of Mr. D. B. Ryder, science 'instructor to thoboard, for the position. Mr. Ryder is 46 years of age, and has been teaching successfully for 30 years.
