TO-DAY'S DINNER.
(Specially written for TnE Douinioh.) WEDNESDAY. Steak and Kidney Pie. Potatoes. Cabbage. Plain Cabinet Pudding. PLAIN CABINET PUDDING. 1} pints of milk, i eggs, 2 tablespoons of sugar, slices of,bread and butter, 2oz. raisins, flavouring if lilted. \ Butter_ a pudding basin and line the insula with stoned roisins. Half fill the basin with slices of bread and butter, cut thin and the crust off. Beat the etrgs, and add them to the sugar with the milk; mix well together, and pour on to the bread and butter. Let it stand for about ian hour. Put a buttered paper over the basin, or tie a (loured cloth over it. taking care the basin is quite, full. Boil for about J hour. The" raisins may be omitted. FOR TO-MORROW. Olio leg of-Mutton. • Onions. Cauliflower. 21b. Blackcurrants. Jib. Suet.
