ENGINEER'S AWARD.
MANY EMPLOYEES EXEMPTED.
The award of the Arbitration Court m the engineers' dispute was filed with the Clerk or'Awards-at Wellington jesterdav. The Court is making .the same award for eacli industrial district, and a, summary of its items has ahead) ueeiii published in Tun Dosnsiox. The Court states in a memorandum that in settling the list .of- parties it has endeavoured to limit the list, as far as possible, to employers whoi are m business as engineers, "The result is that a number of the employers brought before tug Court as parties have been struck out. This will not prevent the union from applying later to have any of these em, Movers joined'as parties to the award, but before an older will be made di« union will have to put forward son* ground'to justify the joinder.
