The market opened yestorday with a wide difference between the buying and selling ritiototion.;; and brokers wero nuito uncertain. -Towards the afternoon, however, when the prices recorded at the sittings of tho Auckland Exchange wore known, there was a better adjustment, but, with few exceptions, the prices may be still regarded as nominal. Tho fluctuations for Waihi shares during tho holidays has liad some cffcct, and although there has been a recovery since, somo fccline or want of confidence ciists which may bo dissipated during tho week.
