/ —» —: — MEMBERS OF COMMONWEALTH ' ' CABINET. (By Telegraph—Press Association.! Invcrcargill, January 9. For the purpose of spending a holiday in Neii; Zealand, the Hon. W. M. Hushes, Attorney-General in the Federal Govern-, nient of Australia, and the Hon. E. L. Batcholor, Minister for External Affairs, arrived at the Bluff to-day by" the s.s. Moeraki from Melbourne; They were accompanied by Messrs. Walter A. Galo and Frank L. Ciapin (two Parliamentary officers). Messrs. Hughes and Batchelor are members of the recently-formed Labour Cabinet in Australia. The visitors were met at the Bluff By Mr. T. W. Brebner (representative of the "Railway Department) and Mr. <T. M'Lauchlin (of the, Tourist Office Department), who officially offered them a welcome to New Zealand. To-day they go on to I.umsden, and thenco to Manapouri and Tc Anau. From To Anau they propose to go overland to Queenstown, and their later itinerary is to arrive in Wellf'n.'jton on February 1, to reach Uotorua on February 3, and to sail from Auckland for Sydney on February 6.
