Miss Wylie won tho ,10 Yards Ladies' Swimming Championship of New- South >\ ales in 35 l-sscc. WORSER BAY SWIMMING CLUB. The Worser Bay Amateur Swimming and Lne-Savmg Club held its second gathering 011 .Worser Bay beach 011 Saturday afternoon, when two events 'were held, the results being as follow;— 100 yards senior—G. Green (18sec.), 1; H. Silver (lOsec.), 2; L. Silvtr (scr.) ,3. Also'' started: S.,Forno (6sec.); Jt. Doughtv (1° sec.); F. Do Rose (I2mc.); O. Green (12 see.); L. Green (14sec.); 11. Mitchell (30 sec.); R. Nesbit (26sec.). Time, 78seo. 50 yards junior—.l. Heath (2?ec.), 1; L. Rountreo (6sce.), 2. Also started: B. Doughty (Bs£c.); S. Br'ailsford (6sec:); T. Lonsdale (scr.);-E. Jleredith (ser.); and N., Blair (15sec.); a distauco of a few ihc»3s only separating them.- After the races an exhibition of tho m« thods of life-saving'was held under the supervision of Mr. H. Rountree. There was a largenumber of interested spectators, and the club is to bo congratulated 011 the great success of. its second meeting. Tho club is to hold a carnival 011 Monday afternoon, January 23 (Anniversary Day). There will b? four inter-club events, viz., 50 yards, 100 yards (ladies' bracelet), 220 yards, and 100 yards breast stroke, races. There will be two races for club members only—so yards' for junior and 50 yards for i«nior.
