THE WELLINGTON TOURNAMENT. SEMI-FINALS. I'iuo. warm weather favoured the bowlers yesterday, and there was a largo muster 011 tho Wellington green in the afternoon to witness the semi-finals of the Wellington Bowling Centre's tournament. The rinks, skipped by Coles, Norwood, Williamson, Vosseler, and Wood having won in their respective sections, the programme for yesterday was to bring tho contestants down to two rinks, in preparation for a grand final game to be played to-day. The result was that Williamson's and Webb's rinks ore left in for the filial. Both these played excellent games, scoring IS each, in games of 1G heads. Tho final will be a game of 21 heads, Mr. 'I'. L. Churchward, secretary of tho Centre, is .umpire in tho semi-finals and finals.

At the close of the tourney to-day the championship shield will bo presented to the winning rink, and the. Gisborne trophy, which was won by the.Wellington Clnb by Webb's rink, with an aggregate of 165, will alro bo presented. Following nro details of yesterday's games:— Fossette, Godber, Redstone. Norwood (Victoria), 15, beat Whitten, Cates, Jones, Coles (Petone), 14.

Hamerton, M'Coll, Duguid, Williamsoil (Kelburne), 18, beat Fossette, Godber, Bedstone, Norwood (Victoria), 12. H. F. Allen, Veiteh, Thompson, Webb (Walliilgton). IS, boat ICirker, Toumans, Scott, Vosseler (Victoria), 10. The final, between Webb and Williamson, will start at 4 o'clock this afternoon.
