The death took place in November at I his residence at Cliftonville, Belfast, of , Surgeon Major-General James- Sinclair, M.D. He was a native of Berwick-on-Tweed, and was educated at Edinburgh University and the Royal College of Surgeons. He was present at the capture of Magdala, and was promoted for meritorious service during that campaign.
