HOUSE AT DUNEDIN. (By Telegraph—Press Association.! Dunedin, January 4. A seven-roomed house in Upper MacLaggan Street, was destroyed by fire early this morning; It was occupied by Mrs. Annie Miller, who retired to bed at midnight, leaving a small firo burning in the kitchen. The furniture was insured in the. Alliance , office for J3175. The houso was owned by Mr. Mtillin. DWELLING AT BLENHEIM. Blenheim, January 4. A five-roomed house in South Street, owned by W. Roscvear, was totally destroyed by fire about midnight. The houso had not been tenanted for some time, as tho owner was eifccting alterations. Tho house was insured for .£2OO in the State office. Eosevear lost a quantity of furniture and tools, which were insured. AN INVERCARGILL FACTORY. Invcrcarflill, January 4. At 6.30 this morning a fire at iiivorton destroyed the woodware and brushware factories, with their plant and stock. Tho building, belonging to Mr. Pankhurst, was insured for .£IOO, but tho plant, owned by Kenneth Trail, and the stock, the property of Carroll aud Co., wore uninsured, The loss is estimated at .£IOOO. .
