HIS FUTURE INTENTIONS. (By Telegrarh.—Special CorrcsDundent.) Auckland, January 1. No reply has yet been received by oxCaptain Knyvelt to his application for a retrial 011 tho charges 011 which he was dismissed from the Defence Forces', beyond a formal aclcnowlcdgnient. Mr. Kuyvett is at present in Auckland, but intends to return to Christchurch about tho end of the Week. It is his intention, if he has not by that time received a definite reply, to communicate further with the Defence Department 011 the matter.
