Tho Prime Minister, Mr. Asquith, will open tho Imperial Conference on May 22 next. ißec. January i, 9 p.m.) London, January 4. The Imperial Government hopes that a full complement of Ministers will attend the Imperial Conference. All will bo regarded as public guests during the Conference. ' i The Premiers of Dominions attending the Conference will be Royal Guests during the Coronation, and tho other Ministers and the Premiers of the Canadian Provinces and the Australian States will be treated as distinguished visitors.
'AUSTRALIAN REPRESENTATION. (Rec, January i, 11,35 p.m.) 1 Melbourne, January 4. The Prime Minister,, Mr. Fisher, and Messrs. Batchelor (Minister for External Affairs) and Pearco (Minister for Defence) will represent the Federal Government at the Imperial Conference. They will leave Australia on April 5.
