HOLIDAY REVENUE. Bad weather' is blamed for the decrease in the tramway traffic during the'week ended' January 1, its compared with the corresponding period of the previous year. The totals were i-IOOD-10, .£3383 18s. 10d.; 1910-11, .-£3286 3s. 'lid. . Decrease, .£97 Us. lid'. ■ • ■ . The figures for December 27 and 29 showed increases of J172 3s. 9d. over the corresponding days of last year, while the remaining five days showed decreases amounting to .£269 18s. 8d;, the total decrease being .£97 14s. lid. The midnight car carried 184 passengers for the week ending December 31. , The Sunday-morning cars conveyed GOB adults, and 02 children. The 9.50 p.m. Constable Street. Sunday Special carried 101 passengers, 129 travelled on the 10 p.m. Newtown, and 80 on the 10.0 p.m. Lyall Bav.
