HERD-TESTING INTERRUPTED

THE KAUPOKONUI FIRE. Ono of the misfortunes' of the fire at ' ; the Kaupokonui Co-operative Dairy Com.pany's factory is that the herd-testing 1 effects have been destroyed. : A few, months ago the Dairy Commistioner (Mr. D. Cuddie), in the courso •"•'of/a campaign to - promote tho.extension of. the. movement inaugurated at ' Dalefield in 1909, visitedi Kaupokonui. and addressed a gathering of larmers concern- : ing ■ herd-testing associations. The out- : ' collie of I 'the gathering was that a herd- ' ■ testing, association was formed on the ■day of-the' address.
