HELENSVILLE MURDER CHARGE
ACCUSED BEFORE-THE COURT,- ' (By TclecrapU—Pres3 Associatlon-i Auckland, January 2. Alfred Albert Cash, who stands, ch'argh ed with having murdered his wife at Helensville on .Christmas Day,' was brought from the Hospital to-day to hear the charge preferred against him. 'In tho Police Court he was obviously in a state of acute mental distress. His neck- was swathed in thick | dressings which covered :the sclf-inflicted wound on his throat. , ' Accused was remanded to appear at Helensville next' Monday.
