OPERA HOUSE. After a highly successful run, "Tho Dollar Princess" was staged for the lust time at. (lie Opera House 011 Saturday evening. As on previous occasions, the piece wenl: splendidly from start- to finish. To-night, Osear Strauss's beautiful comic opera "A Waltz Dream" will be put 011. "A WALTZ DREAM" TO-NIGHT. Tlie box plans for the remainder of tho season of (lie New Comic Opera Company will be' open at the Opera House vestibule io-day from 0 till j.'JO, whero seats may Jjb booked for "A \Vultz Dream," "A Ivnight for a Day," and "The Merry Widow." This evening the curtain will rise at eight o'clock uiiou tho first .production ill the Dominion of Oscar Strauss's fine light opera "A Waltz Drcain," with Miss Florence Young, Miss Lottie Sargent, Mr. Reginald lloberts, Langford Kirbv, Frank Ureeup, Victor Prince,. and Charles Albert in tlia principal parts. "A Waltz Dream" has so lino a reputation that it will probably work out its own salvation in a highly satisfactory manner. Tho play will be produced by Mr. Fred Young, who has come expressly from Australia for tho purpose. Oil Wednesday' evening next, at 7 o'clock, there will be special theatre boat from Day's Bay. This has been arranged, for the many residents who aro desirous of witnessing "A Waltz Dream." Tho steamer will return to the bay after the performance. TIIEATBE ROYAL. The Theatre lioyal was packed on Saturday night with an appreciative audience. Mr. Alf. 'Holt, the impersonator, was encored several times, also Martinetti and Grossi, Nada Moret, and tho Gibson Girls. A complete change of programme is announced for this evening, a special item being the first appearance of Messrs. Gus Deno and George Walton, comedians, who have just arrived from Australia. Tho last nights of Nada Moret, Martinetti and Grossi, the Flying Pedros, and Alf. Holt arc announced. HIS .MAJESTY'S THEATRE. Another large audience was present at His Majesty's Theatre on Saturdav night when the pictures of "Buffalo Bill" were shown for tho last time. To-night there will bo a complete chango of programme when an excellent lot of films will bo exhibited. _ There aro several fino dramatic subjects included, chief, amongst them being,. "Tlie Sergeant" and "Tho Sheriff's Capture." All interesting study 111 natural history will be found in ."The Stock at Home," while amongst thn scenic; subjects is a very fine nicturo of Merakcr. A comedy study of tlie "Far West" is depicted in "Lucky Toothnclio" and tho films of "Foolshcad Knows All" and "Bertie's Elonement" aro described as very funny, ,'lhe remainder of the programme comprises several excellent subjects. KING'S THEATRE. The usual Saturday night display of moving pictures at the' King's Theatre was largely at tended, and the program mo which hod already proved so highly popular was proved to be still attractive. There will be a complete change of programms to-night, and a special selection of pictures will be shown at a holiday matineo this afternoon.. Tho new bill l's stated to be a capital one, . being well varied while each of- tho three, leading lints, scenic, comic, .'and dramatic are well' in evidence. frr.vn 'HCT.URES. .. • . Being now firmly established public ! I favour, the Star Pictures continue "to do excellent-business at St. Thomas's Hail, Newtown, and there were big houses for both performances on Saturday. The management announce a matinee this afternoon and a complete chango of programme for this evening. J; Fuller and Sons'received anexcellent budget of pictures by the last English mail, and-these will bo shown for tho first-time to-night at the Town Hall; The programme has. been specially compiled to suit holiday tastes "and tho subjects are well varied.
