An elder of the Lutheran Church at Poterhoff, on tho south coast of the Gulf of Finland, by mistake poured a mixture of sulphuric acid and chromate of potassium' into a communion chalice. Of 32 who partook of communion sub-i gequently, three died. , The others are ill.
