LODGE MEETING.
Bro. ■ J. Withers, Arcli Druid, presided over a meeting of. tho Excelsior Lodge of Druids No. 11, on Thursday evening.- Visitors present were: D.P. Bro. Allen (Coronation), Bro. F. Banks (Coronation), Bro. P. Cable (Oroua No. .5, Palmerston), ' Bro. ' R. Ward (Ponsonby) Bro. J. H. Thompson (Pacific). A. hearty vote of thanks was passed to them for their attendance. •The sick pay paid , out for the .'last six months was reported exceptionally heavy. Receipts .for.'the evening amounted to £171. A new amusemont committeo was set up for. the next half year, Bros. .T, Johnston, Brown, Waterworth, Austin, Black, Gauntlett, and E. J. King, Arch Druid, chairman, being elected. ■ A motion of condolence was passed ,to tho relatives of tbo late Bro.' F. Janson, who was an old and respected . member of the order. Bro. E. J. King, organist, played the "Dead March in Saul" in memory of . the departed ' brother, and the lodgo then closed without harmony.,.
