ACTOR'S SUDDEN DEATH
PERFORMANCE ABANDONED. . . (By Telegraph—Press Association Copyright) New York, December 28, Mr. Frank Worthing, the Scottish actor, died suddenly at "n"theatre at Detroit. Tho performance was abandoned.
The decea-sed actor first appeared- in London twenty-two ■ years ago as Mr. France in "The Alderman." 'Ho.subsequently played with Mrs. Langtry on tour. In 189-1 he made his first appearance on the American. stage, at Daly's, returned to London the following year, and again visited America in 189 G. He reappeared in London in 1800 and 1907. Mr. Worthing was a versatile actor and lias appeared in legitimate drama, comedy, melodrama, and opera (he played Lieutenant Pinkcrton in "Madam Butterfly").
