From here the road is not metalled, but lt-.was very good:as.a summer road. 4 new. road. has. been made-into Alfredton witfl. .v good grade over the Saddle; It joins-the Alfredton-Weber Road'at Mr where the road is carried by. bridge over the Ihuraua • VF er .\ Fro'n here it is only a couple ol miles into the township. There is a considerable: area of plougbable land in th<-' valleys,- which most of: the farmers have taken advantage of: by cropping.
