• —0 (From Our Own Correspondent.) ■ Christmas evo at "Woodvillc was marked by very rough weather. a strong north- ■ pale blowing, with heavy showers. This interfered .with business considerably. As the night advano:d, however, the weather moderated, and there were a Rood number of people in town. Monday and Tuesday were glorious clays, and everyone appeared to be making fov the Gorge, which is in? picnic ground for tlvo district for miles around. The Methodist Sunday School'picnic was held at Mr. J. Harding's farm, and a very enjoyablo day was spent. The children, especially appreciated .the drive lu and from the grounds. . 'Jlr. and Mrs. J. Harris, of 'Ori'iond 'Road, purpose taking a trip Home shortly. Driver Houston, of the local_ railway staff, has been transferred to Wnngnuui.
