The Commonwealth Minister for Customs, having decided to take advantage of tho power conferred upon him toy the Amended Customs Act, .passed last session for the prohibition oi exports, is engaged in tho preparation at regulations designed to control the export oi plumage of Australian birds. "It is my mien-, tion," Jtr. Tudor stated, "to do all in my power to protect tho birds of Australia from tho ruthless destruction which has been going on for some years past. We will,endeavour to make the law .thoroughly effective."-
